After a 3 week lay off Bude were back in action in the cup and their lack of recent games showed as a young Saltash side had the better of the first half, but both teams had few clear cut chances, with Gareth Martin & Kev Cornish both commanding in the centre of defence.  Bude left it late in the game to score, Jason Ferrett provided a cross from the left hand side to the far post where Norman Foster popped up to head in.  Saltash nearly equalised in the final minutes when the ball dropped in to the Bude box, wasn’t cleared and it fell to a Saltash striker who from just yards out dragged his shot wide of the post.
